ORGANIZATION PROFILE: CLI Dante Alighieri, founded in 1966, is Italy's first private language school specializing in the instruction of Italian language and culture to foreigners. The school uses it own teaching methods, texts and general didactical material which have been developed in conjunction with the school's professors and staff.

Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri's mission is to provide top quality language and cultural instruction to an international community of students in the tradition of the Italian family. With class sizes no larger than 13 students per class, our students receive personal attention from our teachers and staff.

Based in Florence, Italy students are surrounded by Italian language and culture immediately and our goal is to help students make a smooth transition from one culture to another, and to return to their homeland with an international perspective, a broader network of friends and the capacity to speak Italian.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: A vital part of Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri Marketing department is responsible for successfully positioning its services in the highly competitive foreign language marketplace. Marketers initiate rigorous market and service-specific research prior to launch of a new service or course to determine how to optimally position it in the market. After launch, service positioning is continually redirected in order to capitalize on market opportunities.
